Ingredients:
- 2 oz Tromba Blanco Tequila
- 1 oz Lejay Blackcurrant Liqueur
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz spicy agave syrup (combine agave syrup with a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce)
- 1 oz beet juice
- Fresh mint leaves
- Ice
- Salt or Tajín for rimming (optional)
- Lime wheel or beet slice for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare the Glass:
- If desired, rim a glass with salt or Tajín by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into the seasoning.
- Muddle Mint:
- In a shaker, muddle a few fresh mint leaves to release their flavor.
- Build the Cocktail:
- Add Tromba Blanco Tequila, Lejay Blackcurrant Liqueur, fresh lime juice, spicy agave syrup, and beet juice to the shaker.
- Shake Well:
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake the ingredients vigorously for about 10-15 seconds.
- Strain into Glass:
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish:
- Garnish the Rubí Delicioso Margarita with a lime wheel or a thin slice of beet.
