Instructions:

  3. Brown the beef cubes on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pot, add onions, carrots, and garlic. Cook until softened.

  6. Add red wine, scraping the brown bits from the bottom.
  7. Return the beef to the pot, add beef broth, and bring to a simmer.
  8. Cover and let it simmer on low heat for 2-3 hours until the beef is tender.
  9. Adjust seasoning and set aside.

Gnocchi:

  • Use store-bought or homemade gnocchi. Cook according to package instructions or recipe.

Assembly:

Ingredients:

  • Cooked gnocchi
  • Red wine-braised beef
  • Cheese curds
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Burrata cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In serving bowls or plates, layer cooked gnocchi.
  2. Spoon the red wine-braised beef over the gnocchi.
  3. Sprinkle cheese curds generously over the dish.
  4. Tear burrata into pieces and place on top.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
