Though Massie wears designer, I know for a FACT that the purple silk eye mask in her first scene is from Target because I bought it from Target. The pieces I’m going to suggest to recreate her-first day look are affordable pieces – AND more minimalist and modern so you can add these pieces to your regular closet and not your cosplay closet.

THAT WHITE COAT

This Calvin Klein Winter Coat ($127) is the closest thing I could find to Massie’s somewhat “floofy” winter jacket. Did I say we weren’t doing brand names? My bad. You can always count on Marty Calvin!

THAT BLACK BLAZER

This Woman’s Casual Blazer ($42) is the closet thing I could find to match Massie’s blazer. Although it doesn’t have the details of the white trim, it is one of the highest rated blazers on Amazon search and can also be used as a basic in your wardrobe.

THAT RED SILK TOP

I’m recommending this Allegra K red silk top ($25) to match Massie’s. Too many people have raved about this top, and I think it’s a bit of a more match to the blazer I rec’d.

THAT MINI

The bodycon Sweet Hearts white mini skirt ($20) is the perfect piece to accompany all of the above. While Massie’s had buttons, this one is a bit more basic.

WE CAN’T FORGET THE SHOES!

While it’s not open-toe, this Chase & Chloe pair of heels ($42) is the perfect piece for the Massie First-Day look. It does look like it’s vintage, but in my opinion, the look Massie was giving was not 2008 – it was classic. And it’s still classic, to this year. So that’s why it’s on the list.
